Hello. I’m Katiuscia.
My interest in personal development began in high school, where I trained to become a kindergarten teacher. During those years, I became fascinated by human sciences and by understanding how people learn and develop — not only children, but adults too. Five years later, I graduated from the University of Padua with a degree in Educational Sciences and Adult Learning.
After university, I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to do with my life. I was insecure about my abilities and not particularly excited by what I was experiencing in the world of work. Then, after abruptly leaving a full-time job because of what I felt were my boss’s “bad manners,” I happened to read an article in a local newspaper about CIMBA, an American business school and consortium of 36 American universities based in Italy. It changed the direction of my life.
I joined CIMBA in 2001. At the time, my English was not very good, and I started in a junior role. Three years later, I became the Executive Education Director, managing training programs for companies and executives. CIMBA also gave me the opportunity to pursue an MBA accredited by the University of Kansas, which I completed in the USA in 2005. In 2007, CIMBA offered me the opportunity to become a coach. I happily accepted and trained with Results Coaching Systems in London, UK, now part of the NeuroLeadership Institute. That same year, I became a leadership trainer and executive coach. I gained my ICF accreditation in 2009 as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC), and in 2017 I became a Professional Certified Coach (PCC).
In March 2019, after more than 17 years at CIMBA, I left my full-time position and started my own business. My goal was to become an entrepreneur and develop online and offline training and coaching programs based on improvisational principles. My passion for coaching also led me to become an ICF Mentor Coach, supporting other coaches on their journey towards ICF accreditation.
Since then, I have worked with people and organizations around the world, mainly with executives and entrepreneurs. I have more than 1,800 hours of coaching practice and have delivered more than 300 training and facilitation programs for executives across the USA, Europe and the Middle East.
I have also explored different ways of making learning accessible beyond the traditional classroom. My online courses are published on Udemy, where more than 30,000 students have enrolled. In 2020, I published my book on Amazon and subsequently created my Improvise and Succeed online academy, where I share practical approaches to leadership, coaching skills for managers and online course creation.
A Different Space for Thinking
After years of working online, in companies, classrooms and offices around the world, I became increasingly interested in what happens when we change the environment in which people think and reflect. Asolo offers a very different kind of space. Its historic streets, quiet paths, hills and landscape create a natural opportunity to slow down, step away from everyday routines and see things from a different perspective. This is where my professional experience and my life in Asolo come together.
Today, I create coaching experiences in Asolo — from private one-to-one days to small-group experiences and retreats — for people who want to step away from their usual environment, create space for reflection and explore what comes next. The setting is different, but the purpose is the same as it has been throughout my career: to create the space for people to think, gain perspective, learn and move forward.
